This conference presentation dealt with the inter-relationship of the cranial and spinal dura as well as possible functional aspects of the ventricular system, circulation of cerebrospinal fluid and its absorption through the venous sinus system. Discussed were cranial distortion its effect on cranial nerves along with dural torque and its effect on the central nervous system and autonomic nervous system. Relationships were presented between pelvic distortions at the sacro-iliac joints and the lumbosacral junction with its affect on spinal dura and the associated musculoskeletal system. Dental-cranial distortions as a result of malocclusion were incorporated into diagnostic paradigms for isolating dental major, cranial major and pelvic major in clinical practice.
