Human physiology exists perpetually in the fluid state; that is, it fluxes constantly as it processes, moves and copes. Palpation offers us a means by which we can appreciate physiology in the fluid state that is “totally subjective and completely reliable.” Topics covered are: passive and active palpation, palpating the continuum – gross to subtle, proprioceptive and tactile palpation, vibratory sense, and others.
