Chiropractic and Pediatrics Cranial Compression and Distraction: a Possible Implication in Otitis Media

Cranial pressure applied during the birth process my result in an inherent dysfunction in the middle ear and all of the related tissues. The degree of dysfunction will vary from child to child just as the amount of force applied to the various structures will vary from birth to birth. Manipulation of the cranium and cervical spine may restore normal motion and function of the temporal bone and related tissues and structures that have been adversely effected by negative forces applied during the birth process.
