This is a wonderful and informative interview with Dr. Major Bertrand DeJarnette performed by the journal “The American Chiropractor”. The article creates an understanding of how Sacro Occipital Technique was developed and DeJarnette’s personal feelings about chiropractic. He describes his formation of the category system of diagnosis, cranial technique and his vision for the future of chiropractic among other concepts discussed. He summed up with this note to his chiropractic colleagues, “We must respect each others beliefs. We must support our colleges and associations. And we must at all times be proud of chiropractic and proud of our calling as chiropractors.”
