Occipital Approach Sphenobasilar

Sarkin JM Technique Digest of Chiropractic Economics 1991 Sep/Oct; 34:58

Sphenobasilar extension and flexion lesion lesions can be corrected in several different ways. This method presented involves an external contact that exaggerates the fixation or the sphenobasilar joint depending whether it is fixated in extension or flexion. The process uses patient held inspiration or expiration depending on the manner of sphenobasilar fixation. The technique is both an analytical and corrective procedure.
